Adeline — vocal coach, singer, author, composer, performer
A musician, Adeline began studying opera at the age of 15 and became an opera singer for 10 years. Her career came to a brutal halt following an accident that burned her respiratory tract and severely injured her vocal cords. Left virtually mute, Adeline endured years of rehabilitation during which she worked on every aspect of her vocal apparatus and developed an extremely precise technique that allowed her to recover her voice.
Drawing on this experience, Adeline founded CALYP — Centre d'Art Lyrique de Paris — to share her technique with singers and people suffering from vocal cord pathologies. She works alongside ENT surgeons, phoniatricians, and psychiatrists, all voice specialists. Today, Adeline coaches opera and pop artists and works notably at the Paris Opera.
Adeline shares masterclasses with Mariella Devia, queen of Bel Canto. Every year, she organises an international voice symposium with medical specialists, with whom she wrote her singing method.
Singing teacher for the 2022 and 2023 seasons of Star Academy, her teaching method is characterised by unwavering energy, great pedagogy, the highest standards, and a strong determination to bring out the best in her students. Her approach draws on the synergies between voice, body, and mind, and the relationship with music and the stage. During the 2023 season of Star Academy, she invited prestigious guests to the château, including Vitaa, Woodkid, Michèle Laroque, Claudia Tagbo, Véronique Dicaire, singers from the Paris Opera, and Celtic music artists.
Adeline is a stage performer. After releasing her EP 'Rousse' in 2023, she donned the Alien costume and had a remarkable run on Mask Singer. In March 2024, she released her new EP 'J'ai le soleil sur le nez', featuring 9 resolutely rock tracks with new artistic collaborations, and toured France and Belgium with her musical show 'Hey Man'. In January 2024, she released 'Vivre', the domestic violence prevention campaign video in which she plays her own role as a victim. Her autobiography 'Incandescente pour Toujours' was published in April 2024 by Éditions du Rocher. From February to April 2024, she competed in the 13th season of Danse avec les stars on TF1.
She appeared on the big screen on 20 March 2024 in Karaoké by Stéphane Ben Lahcen alongside Michèle Laroque and Claudia Tagbo, after joyfully coaching both actresses during filming.
In October 2024, she published her singing method, Anatomie du Chant, illustrated with 70 drawings reviewed, corrected, and annotated by 26 voice and body specialists, in which she reveals her secrets through numerous tips and practical exercises, including her famous vocalises.
In October 2024, she performed on the Star Academy stage with Vincent Niclo, singing the duet The Prayer by Céline Dion and Andrea Bocelli. In April 2025, she appeared on the show Les Traîtres on M6, hosted by Eric Antoine. She served as a judge on La Meilleure Chorale de France on France 3 in 2024 and 2025.
In September 2025, she published La Bonne Voix, the reference book on the speaking voice and public speaking, featuring guests including Francis Huster, Liane Foly, and a host of experts (lawyers, police officers...) and medical specialists who share their invaluable experience of the voice.
